Once the included remote receiver is installed into the fan's canopy, the handheld control is already paired for easy, out-of-the-box use. Use this ceiling fan handheld remote to control the fan speed and light from anywhere in the room. The included wall cradle provides a convenient, central location for the remote when it's not being used.
